Local Contract Radiology Technologist - $55-60 per hour

Apidel Technologies is seeking a local contract Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Southfield, Michigan. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, evenings Employment Type: Local Contract Title: Radiographer (Radiologic Technologist) Location: Southfield, MI Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 4x10s 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM | Every 3rd weekend rotation | Possible weekend & midnight on-call coverage Experience: • Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based Radiologic Technologist experience • Required Level II Trauma experience in an acute care hospital setting • Experience performing diagnostic radiologic procedures, patient positioning, and equipment operation • Proficient in radiation safety, ALARA principles, and patient protection techniques • Experience with contrast administration and monitoring patients for reactions • Ability to work in IPD/OR/ER environments, including mobile and fixed imaging units • Experience with PACS and RIS systems for imaging documentation and workflow management • OR experience preferred (training available if limited OR background) • Education: • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (required) • Ongoing continuing education hours required License: • Registry eligible or registered in Radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) • If registry eligible, ARRT must be obtained within 6 months of hire Certification: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • ARRT (R) certification Apidel Technologies Job ID #API0510.
