The Opportunity This position offers you the chance to engage in groundbreaking projects while ensuring robust data governance for our international clients. As organizations impose rigorous AI sovereignty and compliance regulations, it is crucial to develop comprehensive data governance frameworks. In this role, you will create and implement governance models that ensure data integrity, security, and compliance for Sovereign AI solutions, working at the intersection of policy, technology, and innovation. Your Key Responsibilities Governance Frameworks: Design and manage tailored data governance models for Sovereign AI implementations, focusing on metadata management, data lineage, and access controls. Compliance & Risk: Guarantee that governance practices align with national sovereignty mandates, privacy regulations, and Responsible AI standards. Enablement & Assets: Develop reusable toolkits and templates for client engagements and internal purposes, fostering consistent governance practices. Collaboration: Work closely with Applied Innovation leaders to integrate governance into AI Factory models and Next Frontier initiatives, ensuring comprehensive compliance. Skills and Attributes for Success Proficient in crafting scalable governance frameworks for complex, multi-jurisdictional data environments. Excellent communication and documentation skills for effective stakeholder engagement. Collaborative mindset to work effectively with technical, policy, and client teams. Outstanding analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail in compliance and risk management. Professional demeanor and strong communication skills for interactions with clients and government entities. Structured problem-solving approach with a focus on regulatory accuracy. To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have Demonstrated experience in governmental policy, regulatory compliance, and AI strategy. Deep understanding of AI/ML architectures, cloud platforms, data architecture, and data sovereignty principles. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field. Knowledge of sovereignty regulations, Responsible AI principles, and data residency requirements. Ideally, You Also Have These Characteristics Advanced degree in Public Policy, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Experience with synthetic data concepts, secure data sharing, or data marketplace frameworks. Our comprehensive compensation package includes competitive salaries based on your performance and contributions to the business. The base salary for this position ranges from $125,900 to $235,500. In certain areas, the range is from $151,100 to $267,600. We embrace a team-led hybrid model where most client-facing roles engage in-person 40-60% of the time throughout engagements.
