POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY The Part-Time Overnight Service Representative is an essential role that supports our guests during the late-night hours when the hotel lobby is closed. This position offers an excellent opportunity to live onsite, as the associate will be provided a guest room for lodging. You will need to respond promptly to on-call business requirements, including guest key issues, noise complaints, emergencies, and limited after-hours check-ins, typically within 30 minutes of notification. MAJOR /KEY JOB FUNCTIONS The following duties may vary during your shift based on the needs of the hotel: Respond to guest requests for check-ins, maintenance concerns, and emergency situations as directed by outside service agents. Manage the security of hotel keys to prevent theft or mismanagement. Log keys in and out as needed. Conduct limited check-ins/check-outs by greeting guests, registering them, assigning rooms, issuing keys, and processing payments. Stay informed about hotel policies, training, and safety procedures. Report all safety and security concerns following company policy. Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and directions. Handle basic bookkeeping tasks like logging events, running reports, and managing guest folios. Maintain proficiency in hotel software and computer systems. Assist in emergency situations and communicate with first responders as needed. Be prepared to cover shifts at neighboring hotels in case of staffing needs. Perform other duties as assigned by management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETENCIES Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operation instructions. Capable of documenting events and preparing routine correspondence. Proficient in operating mobile phones and hotel software. Effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing. Computer skills necessary for data entry and report generation, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Hotel PMS. Friendly and patient demeanor while interacting with guests and staff. Professional appearance and behavior. Self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage high-pressure situations. Strong problem-solving and time management abilities. Aptitude for performing basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and manage simple problems. BENEFITS Weekly Pay! Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and in various weather conditions, with exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Noise levels in the work environment vary from quiet to moderate. Regularly required to stand, walk, and navigate through hallways actively, operate mobile devices, and communicate effectively. Must be physically able to occasionally push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
