Join our dynamic Group Audit team as a Senior Audit Manager! This exciting role is based in our North American headquarters located in Schaumburg, Illinois, where you will play a crucial part in keeping Zurich North America safe. Your primary responsibilities will include: Collaborating with Functional and Regional Audit Executives to conduct risk assessments and shape the global audit plan, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key risks. Managing a variety of risk-based audits, including local and global thematic reviews, while adhering to quality, time, and budget constraints. Offering expertise in audit processes, including scoping, reporting, and engaging with critical stakeholders. Tracking and closing agreed action items effectively. Driving the continuous improvement of audit capabilities and promoting team development through training and knowledge sharing. Identifying and reporting on trends and themes to key stakeholders, along with providing technical insights into the control environment. Supporting Business Audit Leaders in stakeholder communications and building strong relationships across the organization. Overseeing team performance and supporting their career development. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in Audit or Finance, or a High School Diploma with 12+ years of experience, or a Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with a relevant degree and 10+ years of experience. Preferred Attributes: A proven track record with 8-10 years of relevant audit experience, including 2-4 years in senior roles. Expertise in third-party, outsourcing, and project management audits. Experience in the finance industry, particularly in insurance. Proven ability to implement change and foster a learning culture within teams. Excellent project management, organizational, and coaching skills. Strong communication abilities and capacity to work autonomously. Experience in complex global organizations and virtual teams. A collaborative and results-oriented mindset. International work experience is a plus. We offer a competitive compensation range of $124,500.00 - $203,700.00, plus eligibility for a 20% short-term incentive bonus.
