Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Title: RRT – Night Shift Location: Fayetteville, NC 28304 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) Job Responsibilities and Required/Preferred Skills and Requirements: Provide respiratory care for adults and pediatric patients in ICU and acute care settings. Float within hospital or sister campuses as needed to meet facility requirements. Perform patient assessments, treatments, ventilator management, and documentation per hospital protocols. Follow Epic charting system. Comply with facility policies for nights, weekends, holidays, and shift callouts. Must work weekends every other week and float as needed. Comfortable working with both pediatric and adult patients. Short-term acute care environment; Level III Trauma Center / Teaching Hospital. Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Must be comfortable in ICU and acute care settings with adult and pediatric patients. Certifications & Licensure: Must have active RRT license (state or compact). BLS required. Advanced EKG exam required for ICU/ED/Peds ED/Step Down/Telemetry specialties. Vaccine requirements: Flu vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions only). COVID-19 vaccine not required.
