Job Description: Sign on Bonus-- Without National Certification-- With National Certification National Certification can be one of the following: NCCT AST NBSTSA If the candidate has significant CVOR specialty experience, the salary can be negotiable. SCHEDULE: Primarily Day Shift 4x10-hour shifts per week On-call obligation required MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (required for hires post-2009) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist Must have Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) specialty experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Scrub responsibilities across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations Ability to function independently within established protocols Competence in unit tasks assigned by the RN Sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, and patient confidentiality Proficient computer and keyboarding skills SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: BCLS Certification Certification by an approved body (e.g., NBSTSA - CST, or NCCT - TS-C) Position Urgency: Normal Shifts: Days, Full Time State License Details: Upon Acceptance Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Specialty Type: Nursing Sub Specialty: Surgical Technologist Bilingual: No Holiday Coverage Required: No
