Position Overview: As a Human Resource Field Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations, handling document management, recruiting, onboarding, and promotions. This position is pivotal for maintaining HR integrity, fostering employee growth, and cultivating a high-performance workplace. Key Responsibilities: Recruiting, Onboarding, and Promotions: Streamline the hiring process, from posting job ads to conducting interviews and managing the onboarding of new hires. Performance and Talent Management: Oversee the performance review process and collaborate with managers to identify and nurture talent within the organization, developing strategies for employee growth and retention. HR Communications: Serve as the vital communicator for HR-related information, policies, and updates to ensure all employees have clarity and easy access to important information. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding payroll and HR practices, preparing accurate reports and maintaining confidentiality of employee data. Unemployment & Workers' Compensation: Work alongside the Accounting team to handle unemployment claims and manage workers' compensation claims, striving to keep tax rates and premiums low. Employee Records: Maintain precise and up-to-date employee records within our HR systems, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards and overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes. Benefits Enrollment Coordinator: Communicate all aspects of employee benefits offerings, including health insurance and 401K, and assist in the enrollment process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience as an HR Generalist, especially in the Quick Food Service or Restaurant industry. Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other HR tools and software systems. Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making ability under pressure.
