The Role: The Director of Professional Services leads the strategic and operational execution of Professional Services across the Americas East region, focusing on mid-size and large enterprise customers, as well as Federal and SLED segments. This leader is accountable for achieving delivery outcomes, accelerating time-to-value, and ensuring operational excellence through a team that includes Consultants, Service Delivery Managers, and Professional Services Managers. In addition to regional responsibilities, this Director serves as the global leader for the Collaboration Security platform, concentrating on enablement strategies, service standards, and product partnerships across all regions. This role does not directly oversee customer delivery outside of the Americas East region, maintaining accountability for regional leaders while providing global platform leadership by: Defining implementation frameworks and standards for the Collaboration Security platform Developing enablement strategies and capability requirements for the global Professional Services team Supporting execution and advancing goals for our Certified Deployment Partner enablement program Ensuring global technical depth and readiness for deployment Representing Professional Services in a structured partnership with Product Management and Engineering Principal Consultants specializing in the Collaboration Security portfolio will report directly to this Director, driving complex implementations regionally and contributing to global architectural standards, thought leadership, and platform expertise. The Director will be responsible for their performance, development, and alignment to regional delivery and global objectives. This role also oversees resources supporting implementation and consultative services for the Data Security and Governance (DSG) program, ensuring consistency across the Americas with the peer Director leading US West. As the executive escalation point for the Americas East region and a globally recognized authority on the platform, the Director will build credibility with CISOs, CIOs, and senior security personnel, influencing product roadmap direction by conveying field insights and customer needs to Product Management and Engineering. Establishing disciplined operating mechanisms across both regional execution and global platform alignment is key, including KPI dashboards, forecasting accuracy, capacity modeling, standardized methodologies, and formalized feedback loops for products. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Lead and nurture a high-performing Professional Services team aligned to enterprise, Federal, and SLED customers within Americas East. Mentor Principal Consultants and delivery managers in the region directly. Ensure effective delivery of complex SaaS cybersecurity deployments in Americas East. Define global services standards and consultative frameworks for the Collaboration Security platform. Own the global Professional Services enablement strategy for platform products, ensuring worldwide delivery readiness. Collaborate with regional PS leaders to ensure alignment with platform standards and evolving capabilities. Represent Professional Services in product forums, shaping roadmap priorities based on gathered field input. Work closely with CSM, TAM, and Managed Services leadership for streamlined transitions from implementation to customer adoption. Drive disciplined forecasting, utilization management, and capacity planning practices within the Americas East. Oversee efforts to minimize customer churn in Americas East, both proactively through strong delivery and reactively within recovery plans for at-risk customers. Act as the executive escalation lead for significant regional engagements. What You Bring to the Team: Demonstrated success in delivering enterprise-scale multi-product implementations in commercial and regulated public sectors. Experience directly leading senior technical experts (e.g., Principal Consultants, Architects). Proven ability to balance regional operational accountability with global leadership responsibilities. Experience in influencing product roadmaps through structured feedback and cross-functional collaboration. Deep technical knowledge across collaboration security, data protection, cloud architectures, and enterprise integration ecosystems. Strong understanding of the SaaS implementation lifecycle and transition processes to post-implementation teams. Executive presence and the ability to build credibility with senior security leaders.
