Night Fleet Operations Manager/Dispatcher

Join American Eagle Logistics, a part of the Bennett Family of Companies, as a full-time Night Fleet Operations Manager/Dispatcher. This role is crucial for optimizing our fleet's performance and ensuring compliance in our trucking operations. Key Responsibilities: Conduct complex analysis and data entry to maximize the efficiency of assigned Owner Operators, coordinating the planning and movement of available loads from Agents and field offices. Achieve daily revenue objectives for the division and ensure that Owner Operators meet the monthly IRS form 1099 revenue goals. Manage contractor load advances, ensuring adherence to guidelines (40% of L/H revenue plus 50% of applicable FSC). Maintain contractor turnover to a maximum of one cancellation per month. Oversee customer on-time performance requirements by utilizing operational systems for in-transit check calls and taking proactive measures, such as re-powering or rescheduling deliveries. Ensure compliance among vehicle operators by managing attendance at safety meetings (two meetings annually). Qualifications: Availability to work from 6pm to 6am for 7 days on and 7 days off is required. Experience with computer input; a background in supporting over-the-road motor carrier operations while adhering to state and federal DOT regulations; strong understanding of equipment types, capacity, and capabilities. Demonstrated customer service and communication skills; ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders. Hands-on experience in platform trucking operations is essential. Adept at working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask effectively. Exceptional customer service skills are a must.
