1st Shift Maintenance Specialist Join our dynamic team and embark on a fulfilling career with the perk of weekends off! This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Key Responsibilities: Perform vital repairs and maintenance on all production and facility equipment to ensure consistent operation throughout the day and night shifts. Review equipment reports submitted by team members and maintain accurate and detailed repair logs in accordance with company policies. Document all equipment-related activities meticulously, including forms for assembly and disassembly. Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment, keeping an organized PM log with appropriate documentation. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, to uphold a safe working environment. Manage and secure the battery-charging area, including batteries and related equipment. Safeguard and account for company tools, replacement parts, and maintenance equipment, maintaining inventory and security. If authorized, procure tools and equipment necessary for your job duties. Relationships: Internal: Collaborate with warehouse and production staff, supervisory personnel, operations support, maintenance, and sanitation teams. External: Interact with outside vendors as needed. Qualifications: Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; mechanic training or trade school degree is a plus. Experience: At least six months of relevant mechanical experience required. Skills: Proficiency in equipment repair and operation, welding abilities, strong communication skills, and basic math skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently throughout the workday. Lift, carry, and maneuver various weights, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Perform job functions that require climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching. Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, plus eligibility for overtime compensation.
