Position Overview: The Field Strategy Associate Director is crucial in driving sales effectiveness by empowering field teams with insightful analytics and essential tools to elevate their performance. This role aligns key metrics and insights with our overarching brand strategy, ensuring that analytics dashboards and reporting tools provide actionable, field-relevant intelligence. Instead of creating new tools, this role focuses on orchestrating the integration and utilization of existing resources, streamlining efforts for field teams to master the execution of sales strategies. It is vital that these teams are informed, skilled, and effectively leveraging all available insights to maximize their impact. This position extends strategic support across various regions, collaborating closely with sales leadership nationwide to maintain a well-rounded view of performance trends and execution effectiveness. The role involves working with the Business Analysis team to ensure the availability of actionable insights and a consistent reporting structure that empowers informed decision-making throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities: Define & Measure Field Impact: Establish KPI metrics aligned with brand strategy to assess field effectiveness in achieving business objectives. Develop frameworks to evaluate whether field teams are successfully implementing strategic priorities. Standardize Performance Tracking & Reporting: Ensure consistency in tracking field performance at both national and local levels using standardized dashboards. Collaborate with Commercial Operations to streamline reporting processes and provide clear, actionable insights. Drive Strategic Clarity and Field Engagement & Execution: Translate brand strategies into actionable expectations across all levels of the organization. Act as a strategic partner to sales leadership, ensuring field insights guide strategic decisions. Enhance understanding of the rationale behind initiatives among field teams to align with broader commercial goals. Lead Business Review Framework & Execution: Manage the business review process framework, ensuring a consistent approach to address key strategic questions from senior leadership. Design templates and storytelling strategies to make sure business reviews yield meaningful insights that drive decisions. Support Business & Account Planning: Assist in the effective formulation of business and account plans, ensuring accountability among essential stakeholders. Oversee the execution of plans and provide feedback to enhance overall performance. Compliance Management: Adhere to all relevant state and federal laws and guidelines, including the PhRMA Code and OAPI standards regarding job activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in field leadership or customer strategy roles is preferred. Proven expertise in data analysis, business intelligence, and strategic planning within a pharmaceutical sales context. Ability to translate data into concise, actionable insights to drive business performance. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams. Compensation: The salary for this role ranges from $153,700.00 to $229,770.00, plus an incentive opportunity, reflecting typical pay scales for similar positions within the United States.
