Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Night Shift - Miami, FL (Hospital/NICU/PICU) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Night Shift in Miami, FL | Active RRT, BLS, NRP, PALS required. Join a dynamic team at a leading Level 1 adult & pediatric trauma center with a Level 3 NICU and recognized as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. This 13-week travel respiratory therapist assignment offers fast-paced hospital experience using advanced respiratory technology. Job Details Location: Miami, FL 33175 - Miami healthcare opportunity; enjoy vibrant city life, beaches, and diverse culture. Setting: Hospital - NICU/PICU, tertiary care and teaching facility; ideal for NICU respiratory therapist and PICU respiratory therapist roles. Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts) - Night shift RRT role Hours per Week: 36 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: March 4, 2026 End Date: June 3, 2026 Employment Type: Travel, On-Site - travel respiratory therapist, hospital respiratory therapy jobs in Florida Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,520 - $1,640/week Qualifications & Requirements Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital RRT experience Current NICU/PICU experience required - experience as a NICU respiratory therapist or PICU respiratory therapist preferred Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills for fast-paced clinical settings Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams in high-acuity environments Light gray (silver) uniform required Responsibilities Provide assessment, treatment, and ongoing evaluation for patients with respiratory diseases using advanced respiratory technologies and medication delivery systems Operate high-flow devices, 3100A, Bunnell, Servo s, continuous nebulizers, Nitric Oxide, Heliox, and regular nebulizers Provide neonatal and pediatric respiratory support in NICU/PICU settings as required Document patient care accurately using Meditech Float to cover adult floors as needed - nebulizer therapy, BIPAP, chest physiotherapy (CPT), etc. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care Adapt to changing patient needs and fast-paced clinical situations Apply now to join our Miami healthcare team as a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
