Transportation Support Coordinator - $865-$1,195 per week Position Summary The Transportation Support Coordinator is a vital role that operates from the comfort of your own home, aiding drivers, dispatchers, brokers, and operations teams to ensure seamless freight movement. Your responsibilities will include organizing schedules, providing timely updates, verifying essential documents, and proactively addressing common dispatch challenges. Remote Work Setup 100% Work-From-Home Flexible hours Designed for those aspiring to move into dispatching in the future Weekly Salary Breakdown $865/week for entry-level experience $1,195/week for experienced support staff Approximate annual salary: $45,000-$62,000/year What You Will Do Driver & Dispatch Assistance Provide drivers with updated instructions, addresses, and appointment times. Monitor ETAs, delays, breakdowns, and Hours of Service (HOS) considerations. Assist drivers in resolving road issues quickly and professionally. Load Coordination Confirm pickup and delivery schedules. Track loads and provide timely updates to brokers and shippers. Verify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Proof of Delivery (PODs) to ensure freight accuracy. Time Management Estimate realistic loading and unloading times. Avoid scheduling conflicts and tight appointment windows. Documentation Upload all relevant documentation into the Transportation Management System (TMS). Keep track of detention, layover, and Truck Order Not Used (TONU) opportunities. Maintain precise and organized load notes. Customer & Broker Communication Send regular status updates and check-ins. Notify brokers promptly about any changes or delays. Foster positive, professional relationships with shippers and brokers. Essential Skills Exceptionally clear communication abilities. Keen attention to detail. Ability to multitask effectively in high-pressure situations. Strong organizational capabilities. Basic knowledge of load boards and TMS (training provided).
