Purpose of Role The Network Security Specialist is key in identifying security risks and incidents across Under Armour's Corporate, Retail, Distribution House, and Regional Data Center Networks. You will play a crucial role in our risk-centric Global Network Security program, aimed at reducing exposure and enhancing visibility and control globally. Your responsibilities will include integrating security capabilities within our existing enterprise and cloud networks to minimize vulnerability and downtime. Your Impact Support network security design and architecture initiatives Collaborate with the Network Engineering team to enhance infrastructure security, firewall solutions, NAC solutions, Wi-Fi security, and SASE solutions Assist in the management and maintenance of Under Armour's Global Network Develop and enforce network security policies Ensure control and visibility of Under Armour's global networking environment Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity using advanced tools Validate and test newly deployed network hardware technologies Work with the Incident Response Team to mitigate security alerts and anomalies Analyze and integrate relevant Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) with the Threat Intelligence team Support the vulnerability management team with security patches and remediations Utilize computer science expertise to review and remediate suspicious activities Analyze large sets of network, file, and host-based log data Engage in security engineering and architecture for new enterprise projects Qualifications Bachelor's degree with approximately 5 years of relevant cybersecurity experience OR a Master's degree with around 3 years of relevant experience OR around 9 years of experience in cybersecurity without a degree Experience in Global Enterprise Network Security, Cybersecurity, or Network Engineering Proficient in various Firewalls, NAC solutions, and Network Intrusion Detection tools Hands-on experience in network configuration and troubleshooting Experience in implementing and managing security appliances and firewalls Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell Knowledge of common network security tools Understanding of SD-WAN technology and experience in an SD-WAN environment Familiarity with Networking and Network Security aspects of popular cloud platforms Workplace Location Location: Remote (East Coast preferred for better collaboration with HQ and teams) Work Schedule: Hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 in-office days per week. Travel: Minimal Licenses/Certifications: N/A Sponsorship Eligibility: UA does not sponsor employment-based work authorization for this position. Relocation No relocation provided Base Compensation $97,151.60-$121,439.50 USD. Most new hires fall within this range, with potential for advancement over time based on relevant skills and experience. Base salary is just one part of our competitive Total Rewards package.
