Job Summary: As a Sr. Developer specializing in GIS Development you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing innovative geospatial solutions. Qualifications: Possess a strong background in GIS development with at least 6 years of relevant experience. Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C++ for GIS application development. Have experience with GIS software platforms like ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools. Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex spatial data effectively. Show excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging GIS technologies. Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related field with a focus on GIS development. Certifications Required: Certified GIS Professional (GISP) Esri Technical Certification Compensation: $90,000 to $105,000 +/- and this position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cogniant's applicable plans.
