We are seeking an Electrical Quality Assurance Inspector to play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective performance of electrical components and equipment in our product facilities. The Electrical Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough performance testing to confirm adherence to design specifications, applications, and our Trachte Compliance Control (TCC) System. This vital position ensures that all electrical operations are safe, accurate, and fully functional before shipment, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Prepare testing environments by setting up workstations, connecting temporary power sources, and verifying electrical safety prior to energizing systems. Conduct performance testing in a two-person team, ensuring equipment operation aligns with TCC documentation. Review construction drawings and carry out structured ON/OFF cycles for various types of components. Utilize volt/ohmmeters and other instruments to test circuit continuity and electrical compatibility. Document test results diligently, marking drawings to confirm successful completion of each component test. Identify performance deficiencies, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate corrective actions with the Lead Electrician. Clearly communicate any deficiencies and provide guidance to electricians as required. Assist in post-testing processes including labeling, compiling ship-loose item lists, and organizing materials for transport. Collaborate effectively with supervisors to complete assignments efficiently. Train and orient crew members on installation policies, standards, and quality expectations. Dependability & Accountability: Complete tasks on time and follow instructions diligently. Qualifications: Education and Experience High school diploma is required. A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in electrical installation within manufacturing or construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Licenses and Certifications State of Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred. Supervisory Role: Supervise one or more employees during electrical installation tasks. Responsible for training, planning, and directing team efforts in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Address performance issues and resolve complaints as necessary. Physical Requirements: Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequent hand use for handling, reaching, and operating tools. Must possess adequate vision for various tasks.
