We are partnering with the City of Calabasas to deliver on-demand ridesharing services and are seeking independent contractor Driver Partners to connect with riders through our platform. To qualify as a Driver Partner with Via, you must: Hold a valid California driver's license. Be 25 years or older. Have a minimum of 1 year of driving experience. Possess a personal auto insurance policy. Lease and operate a vehicle from a vehicle leasing partner. Be available to attend WAV onboarding and be physically able to assist with a wheelchair and operate a WAV vehicle. Pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal and motor vehicle records. Complete a DOT pre-engagement drug test and comply with ongoing DOT drug and alcohol testing as mandated by FTA regulations. Additional requirements may be communicated to prospective Driver Partners as necessary. Note: To be eligible for the new driver partner incentive, you must drive for at least 10 hours on the Via platform within 30 days of completing your onboarding session.
