Your Responsibilities Plan your day, set priorities, and work with your team to keep freight moving efficiently and safely. Manage all required paperwork and electronic logs accurately while following DOT, state, and company guidelines. Safely operate and inspect your tractor-trailer before, during, and after each trip to ensure top performance. Follow traffic laws and local restrictions to navigate optimized routes, reducing delays for on-time deliveries. Uphold Walmart's high standards of safety, integrity, and professionalism with every mile. Minimum Qualifications Valid Interstate (Class A) Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain it within 120 days of hire (background check required). A minimum of 30 months of full-time Class A tractor/trailer driving experience in the last 3 years. No more than two moving violations in the past three years. No serious traffic violations or preventable accidents in the past three years. No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the last ten years. No accidents resulting in fatalities or catastrophic injuries in your driving history. Must reside within 250 miles of the assigned facility or be willing to move within 90 days of hire. The preventability of accidents will be evaluated based on ATA Guidelines. The average mileage rate for this role is between $0.55 - $0.69 per mile, with annual mileage ranging from 62,355 - 196,040.
