The Lead Product Owner for Interoperability Solutions is essential in translating our product vision and strategic roadmaps into tangible, actionable steps for our Agile delivery team. Your focus will be on maximizing the value of the Interoperability products developed by your team. Collaborate closely with stakeholders and the development team to ensure that we build the right product efficiently, within budget, and on schedule. In this role, you will provide strategic guidance to senior executives on critical functional strategies, using your independent judgment to navigate complex issues. Put your analytical skills and leadership qualities to work as you define and execute the most effective course of action. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead Scrum teams through essential SAFe Agile ceremonies, such as Daily Stand-Ups, PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and more. Conduct quarterly on-site PI Planning sessions aimed at optimizing team efficiency. Create and enhance user stories while managing a well-organized backlog to ensure a steady workflow for development. Prioritize and assign tasks based on Humana's Lean Portfolio Management strategy. Manage technical relationships with external partners, ensuring clear communication among all stakeholders for timely solution delivery. Facilitate internal communications among various teams, including IT Directors and Solution Architects, for smooth project execution. Proactively identify and eliminate blockers that may hinder the delivery of technical solutions. Drive discussions and collaborate with other Humana teams to achieve overarching product objectives. Ensure that product delivery timelines align with the strategic goals of both Humana and our partners. Translate High-Level Architecture into actionable tasks for development and implementation. Stay current with Interoperability regulations and compliance to distill requirements for development teams. Maximize the value of deliverables from Agile teams. Develop expertise in multiple Interoperability Product Areas and share your knowledge to cultivate a culture of learning and improvement. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. In-depth experience in Clinical Utilization Management, Care Management, and Medical Authorizations. Proven ability to lead diverse cross-functional teams, both internal and external. 5+ years of experience in the software development life cycle (SDLC) related to healthcare product solutions or similar fields. Experience with Data Movement solutions such as APIs, SFTPs, and Streaming Services. Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. An intuitive understanding of user experience to design effective and user-friendly solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with various Data Storage environments, including relational and unstructured databases. Knowledge or experience with HL7 FHIR formatting. Experience with monitoring and logging solutions for enhanced data transparency. SQL querying experience or proficiency with analytical software for data evaluation. Experience in Healthcare Interoperability, Electronic Medical Records, and/or Electronic Notifications. Understanding of CMS Risk Adjustment and Quality Measure Reporting. Experience with UAT (User Acceptance Testing) scenarios and data collection. Strategic and operational experience in relevant fields. A performance-driven mindset focused on delivering high-quality technology products. SAFe PO/PM certification is a plus. Experience in Data Governance and/or Data Stewardship. Travel: This role is primarily remote; however, occasional travel to Humana's office may be required for meetings or training. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Range: $115,200 - $158,400 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for full-time (40 hours per week) employment and may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications. The position is also eligible for a performance-based bonus incentive plan.
