If interested in this Medical Device Assembly Technician position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration Brittney Blackman | | text 5867107970 MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION: Location: Sandy UT 84070 – 100% On-site Payrate: $25/hr Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Medical Device Assembly Technician will work closely with engineering teams to execute complex build protocols, mix chemical formulations, and utilize specialized tooling for medical device components. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN | RESPONSIBILITIES: Specialized Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly and sample builds, including heat-forming tips on catheter shafts and applying specialized coatings/lubrication to guidewires. Chemical Handling: Accurately mix chemical formulations required for the production process. Quality & Documentation: Characterize and photograph samples; prepare materials for conditioning and testing in accordance with SOPs. Technical Inspection: Conduct quality inspections using microscopes and basic measurement tools to ensure all parts meet rigorous specifications. Troubleshooting: Identify and raise concerns regarding equipment malfunctions or material abnormalities to ensure non-conforming samples are avoided. Equipment Maintenance: Set up, operate, and perform routine maintenance on specialized manufacturing equipment. MEDICAL DEVICE ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN | REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days. Prior experience with chemical mixing or precision mechanical builds 2+ years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience (Medical Device experience is a significant plus). Ability to use microscopes, read and interpret English specifications, and perform basic mathematical calculations. Extreme attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously after initial training. You should be comfortable asking clarifying questions to ensure a "right first time" build. Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods. Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally. Take the Next Step!
