Under the general supervision of the LaboratoryDirector provides clinical laboratory services to patients in accordance withaccepted practices and Departmental and Hospital standards of care inconsultation with a Medical Technologist as needed. Performs additional tasks as assigned by theLaboratory Administrative Director or designee. The exact nature of the work may vary depending upon the workload andthe assigned duties. Associate degree in medical laboratorytechnology (or equivalent) from an accredited two year college, or be agraduate of a medical laboratory school or program accredited by anorganization approved by the US Department of Education, and must show evidenceof having obtained an appropriate degree or certificate of completion, orcompleted a US military laboratory procedures training program, provided thatthe training credits were earned in or have been accepted by, an accreditedcollege or university leading to the award of an appropriate degree.
