Job Description

A school district in Georgetown, TX, is seeking six skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 school year to provide essential in-person services to a diverse student population. With a retiring SLP leaving a substantial caseload, these positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a range of grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade. Available placements include elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) settings, allowing flexibility based on experience and preference. Typical school day schedules are as follows: Elementary: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Middle School: 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM High School: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Caseloads are designed to be manageable, currently maintained between 50-60 students, ensuring focused and effective therapy services. This is an excellent opportunity for SLP professionals to join a supportive and student-centered environment with a variety of grade levels to choose from. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Speech-Language Pathology credential/license Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred Strong understanding of speech and language disorders, assessment, and intervention Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students effectively Excellent communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and students Commitment to providing individualized, evidence-based in-person therapy Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on student needs Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social communication goals Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations This contract role offers the chance to engage in meaningful speech-language work within a dynamic educational environment.
