Job Description Join the innovative Oracle SaaS Security team as a Director of Security Solutions Architecture and Strategy. In this essential role, you will lead the product security architecture for our SaaS Services, collaborating with a skilled team of security experts dedicated to creating and deploying secure, resilient solutions. We seek a visionary security leader who will develop a comprehensive risk-based security review program. You will utilize AI capabilities to improve the effectiveness and reach of security assessments across our SaaS offerings. Collaborate with engineering, product, security, compliance, and SaaS operations teams to set clear patterns, standards, and guardrails that empower teams to build securely while enhancing their delivery speed. Key Responsibilities: Recruit, mentor, and guide a distributed team of security architects, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Plan, prioritize, monitor, and deliver comprehensive security reviews and assessments, establishing KPIs to communicate progress and risk posture to senior leadership. Define secure-by-design architecture standards, security patterns, and reference implementations for our SaaS Services. Enhance security processes and weave security architecture into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) utilizing AI and automation where beneficial. Engage in technical discussions as required; act as a security architecture subject matter expert and trusted advisor to executive leadership and stakeholders. Collaborate with engineering, product, security, compliance, and SaaS operations teams to reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve resilience. Incorporate incident learnings into security design patterns and controls; maintain thorough documentation for audits and reviews. Evaluate potential business impacts from security breaches and provide strategic insights to decision-makers. Promote the responsible use of AI and data handling in security tools and processes, aligning with Oracle's security, privacy, and compliance standards. Stay updated on emerging threats and standards, converting insights into actionable guidance regarding cryptography, AI Security, identity management, web security, and multi-tenant deployment. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience across various security domains, including product and application security, security testing, and security architecture. At least 3 years of leadership and people management experience. Experience in guiding product security architecture at a large-scale IaaS/PaaS/SaaS cloud service provider or in a Fortune 500 company. Proven ability to utilize AI technology in the security field. A strategic thinker with a history of building effective strategic partnerships. Exceptional communication skills, adept at conveying clear information in both written and verbal formats to product teams and leadership. Demonstrated success in attracting and retaining high-performance employees. Deep understanding of security assessment processes and their integration into the software development lifecycle.
