Training Specialist

The Training Specialist (TS) plays a vital role within the DC Operations Team by serving as the primary trainer for the department. This position involves delivering new hire orientations, providing training on best practices and job functions, and demonstrating the correct use of equipment. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Assistant Operations Manager and department Coach. When not engaged in training, the TS will assist with normal operational tasks or contribute to special projects under the guidance of DC leadership. Team Members in this role are eligible for the Performance Team Member Bonus when performing standard functions. The Training Specialist is expected to foster a culture of safety among Team Members to ensure a secure working environment. This role also serves as a development opportunity for those interested in advancing to coaching positions in the future.
