Finance Director

In this role, you will: Lead comprehensive financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and KPI tracking. Work closely with service line leaders to assess financial performance, identify risks, and discover strategic growth opportunities. Ensure accuracy and clarity in month-end and quarterly financial reporting for executive stakeholders. Support mergers and acquisitions by conducting valuation modeling, deal structuring, and financial due diligence. Drive proactive profitability analysis, focusing on utilization, leverage, and essential professional services metrics. Enhance reporting dashboards and analytics capabilities within the Finance function. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, including both managers and individual contributors. Collaborate across departments such as People & Culture, IT, Marketing, and Operations to support firm-wide initiatives. Oversee billing and collections activities, approving invoices and expenses as necessary. What you bring to the table: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; an MBA is preferred. 12+ years of progressive financial management and FP&A experience, preferably in a professional services setting. Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or similar are preferred. Strong expertise in financial modeling and advanced analytical skills. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with project management acumen. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing finance teams. In-depth understanding of professional services metrics, including profitability, utilization, and leverage KPIs. High proficiency in Excel, with experience using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Hyperion. A keen eye for detail accompanied by strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Salaries within this range are determined based on various factors such as the role's responsibilities, work experience, education, skills, and geographic location.
