Anticipated End Date: 2026-03-10 Position Title: Healthcare Reimbursement Data Analyst Job Description: As a Healthcare Reimbursement Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering advanced analysis and insightful reporting for our health system's reimbursement sector. Join us in a dynamic and flexible work environment, where you will be required to attend the office just one day a week at our Pulse Point locations, including Atlanta, GA, Richmond, VA, Indianapolis, IN, Wallingford, CT, or Mason, OH. We also welcome candidates from other locations within commuting distance! How You Will Make an Impact: Enhance our forecasting processes and month-end results to drive efficiency. Prepare executive summary reports to empower top-level decision-making. Analyze complex business needs and develop effective solutions that meet those needs. Collaborate with diverse teams to implement innovative products and enhancements. Coordinate with external audits to ensure compliance and accuracy. Serve as the primary liaison for our internal departments and auditors. Develop and maintain comprehensive databases to monitor business performance metrics. Utilize summary statistical methods to evaluate data and overall performance. Create and analyze detailed reports on claims, provider, and utilization data, pinpointing deviations and anomalies. Generate both periodic and ad-hoc reports to support ongoing analysis. Provide actionable recommendations derived from data insights to improve performance. Offer analytics consultation to leadership and other business areas. Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and work experience, is required. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: Strong financial modeling experience specifically related to reimbursement structures in health systems is a significant advantage. Experience benchmarking physician or hospital rates against Medicare reimbursement is preferred. Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and SAS for in-depth data analysis. A comprehensive understanding of healthcare products and internal business models. Experience in leading financial performance evaluations within complex organizations. Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while effectively addressing emergent issues.
