Job Description As a Value Stream Operations Manager, you will take charge of the complete operations within a defined product value stream in Motorola Solutions' electronic manufacturing environment. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Direct and coordinate manufacturing operations and schedules to align with customer demand and value stream capacity. Ensure strict compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Monitor production performance and take immediate action to address any deviations. Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, supply chain, and quality personnel. Optimize workforce allocation across shifts to enhance the utilization of human resources and equipment. Foster a culture centered around accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Continuous Improvement Champion lean initiatives, organize Kaizen events, and implement root cause corrective actions to achieve a zero-defect culture. Engage in technology roadmaps and assist in the adoption of new equipment and processes. Maximize throughput, minimize waste, and elevate efficiency across the value stream. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement Translate customer requirements into effective operational strategies and processes. Collaborate with engineering, program management, and supply chain to fulfill delivery commitments. Provide transparent reporting on performance metrics, risks, and improvement strategies. Additional Qualified Skills: Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and continuous improvement methodologies. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Target Base Salary Range: $98,100 - $175,000 Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and legal requirements, the following information is provided to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Actual offers will rely on the individual candidate. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 6+ years of leadership experience in electronics manufacturing. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
