As a Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will take ownership of operations from start to finish, focusing on key aspects such as capacity planning, logistics optimization, network design, and operational efficiency analysis. In this role, collaboration is key. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business, operations, program management, product, finance, and more. Your analytical skills will allow you to pinpoint opportunities for improvement, implement scalable systems, and drive automation to boost efficiency, all aimed at optimizing the physical flow and operations within the supply chain. Key responsibilities include: Lead strategic initiatives: Drive essential projects across various business units. Optimize flow: Manage and streamline the movement of goods and information within the supply chain. Enhance efficiency: Balance supply and demand while improving distribution networks, warehouses, and logistics operations. Data analysis: Utilize data to uncover opportunities for improving customer experiences and operational efficiency. Define metrics: Develop program management strategies and simplify processes to aid decision-making in complex scenarios. Stakeholder collaboration: Engage with various stakeholders to reach agreements and achieve common network goals. Manage initiatives: Oversee cross-functional supply chain initiatives, emphasizing continuous improvement and a lean philosophy. Drive performance: Own programs related to network capacity to achieve project delivery efficiencies. Identify improvements: Focus on inventory management, logistics strategy, and transportation optimization. Monitor metrics: Keep track of key network capacity metrics to ensure smooth operations. A typical day will involve establishing optimization mechanisms to track performance, lane efficiency, and utilization metrics while implementing process improvements and automation. You will collaborate closely with teams from Operations, XLOC, ACES, and Transportation to align on design priorities and drive data-driven solutions for long-term success. This role requires a deep understanding of Middle Mile operations, a proven track record in network design or process optimization, and strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. About our team: The Supply Chain Operations Manager role involves leading initiatives that enhance the delivery experience and performance of the Amazon Delivery (AMXL) network. You will research performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans to tackle performance issues. Basic qualifications include: Bachelor's degree 3+ years of program or project management experience 3+ years of cross-functional collaboration with tech and non-tech teams 3+ years in defining and executing process improvement initiatives using data 2+ years of experience in supply chain management Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL Experience in defining program requirements and leveraging data for improvements Preferred qualifications: 3+ years of experience in driving end-to-end delivery and reporting to senior leadership 3+ years of experience spearheading process improvements Strong stakeholder management skills Experience in building processes and project management Amazon is an equal opportunity employer. The base salary range for this position includes compensation that varies by location and experience: Tempe, AZ: $85,800 - $128,600 annually Nashville, TN: $77,200 - $115,800 annually Austin, TX: $85,800 - $128,600 annually Bellevue, WA: $85,800 - $128,600 annually
