Position Summary Navista is dedicated to empowering community oncology practices in delivering patient-centered cancer care. The Vice President of Business Development will be pivotal in expanding our network, forging partnerships, enhancing service line offerings, and shaping our organizational strategy to ensure exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader and advisor, with proven expertise in partnering with oncologists and other healthcare professionals across various therapeutic areas. Key responsibilities include setting ambitious sales targets and marketing goals, developing sales strategies, overseeing contract acquisition, and leading a dynamic sales team. Responsibilities Lead the commercial operations and strategy division to develop and implement comprehensive strategic development plans aligned with our mission and growth objectives. Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and innovative programmatic enhancements to elevate the network's presence and impact. Establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, research institutions, and other key stakeholders. Define a strategic growth pipeline, including new revenue streams, service line expansions, and market entry initiatives. Collaborate with marketing and communications to develop effective branding and marketing strategies that enhance our visibility and reputation. Work closely with Corporate Development to identify and assess potential new practices and partnerships. Cultivate strong relationships with internal sales teams to drive our overall oncology strategy. Manage sales operations, providing leadership and development for the team. Negotiate contracts and agreements effectively. Demonstrate a track record of successfully driving growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and service line expansion. Possess a robust understanding of practice management, operations, and healthcare regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, life sciences, or a related field is preferred; an advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Healthcare Administration) is highly desirable. 15+ years of experience in executive strategy and development roles, or equivalent positions are preferred. Demonstrated success in strategic development and business development within the healthcare sector, highlighting capabilities in market opportunity identification and growth-focused business planning. Experience in a Business Development or Growth role within a Managed Services Organization (MSO) or community practice space is preferred. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to successfully convey our mission to physicians, staff, and stakeholders. Familiarity with oncology, urology, or other specialties, including relevant trends, healthcare regulations, and research advancements. Strong financial acumen and business insight to optimize resource allocation and investment returns. Proven experience managing diverse teams, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. Analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to travel up to 50% as required.
