Job Title: Assistant Nurse Manager - Satellite Operations (Evening / Second Shift) Location: Confidential Management Level: Manager Overview We are seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to provide leadership and operational oversight for satellite clinical units during evening/second shift hours. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with leadership experience who is passionate about staff development, quality improvement, and delivering consistent, patient-centered care across multiple clinical settings. The ANM partners closely with the Director of Satellite Operations and nursing leadership to ensure efficient daily operations and high standards of care. Key Responsibilities Support daily operations of satellite clinical units, including staffing coordination, scheduling, onboarding, and orientation Supervise, coach, and mentor nursing staff to promote clinical excellence and professional growth Reinforce evidence-based practices and support quality improvement initiatives Monitor workflows, productivity, and staff performance; provide timely feedback and guidance Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, staff efficiency, and patient experience Serve as a clinical and leadership resource during evening/second shift coverage Assist with budget monitoring, operational planning, and resource allocation Promote a positive work environment grounded in shared governance, accountability, and open communication Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, organizational policies, and clinical best practices Qualifications Required Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state or compact, eligible for practice) 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory, charge nurse, or leadership role Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Preferred Master's degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, or related field) Specialty nursing certification relevant to the patient population served Experience with quality improvement initiatives, staff development, and multi-unit operations Work Environment & Physical Demands Primarily evening/second shift coverage; schedule may vary based on operational needs Clinical environment with frequent interaction with staff and patients Physical activity may include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 40 lbs Exposure to standard healthcare risks, including infectious diseases and hazardous materials Why This Role Is Exciting Leadership opportunity supporting multiple satellite clinical units Direct impact on care quality, operational efficiency, and staff engagement Opportunity to participate in organizational initiatives and quality improvement efforts Fully confidential search - applicants connect through a staffing partner #INDH
