Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (product, design, operations, infrastructure) to create groundbreaking application experiences. Develop custom user interfaces utilizing the latest programming techniques and technologies. Optimize and analyze code for quality, efficiency, and performance, providing constructive feedback during code reviews. Lead major initiatives, setting goals for the team, and offering technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues, while assisting in onboarding new members. Design scalable and efficient systems that drive complex applications. Identify and address performance and scalability challenges, spearheading efforts to reduce technical debt. Work with a variety of coding languages and technologies. Take full ownership of components, features, or systems, ensuring an expert-level understanding from start to finish. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of programming experience in a relevant language OR 4+ years of experience with a PhD. Proven track record of driving change within organizations and leading intricate technical projects. Experience utilizing data and analysis to identify technical issues, providing comprehensive feedback and solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience shipping at least one large-scale product to production that supports millions of active users. A minimum of 2 years working on Android applications in Java using the Android SDK. Demonstrated experience in building maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit testing methodologies. Familiarity with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
