We are seeking a knowledgeable Pega Systems Engineer to support the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington DC. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining top-quality software solutions and providing operational support for the program. You'll engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and ongoing maintenance. The ideal candidate will be part of a technical support team responsible for constructing, managing, and overseeing the enterprise PEGA infrastructure, implementing patches and upgrades, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all supported environments. Required Experience, Skills, and Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with 4-8 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in the same fields with 2-6 years of relevant experience. Eligibility to work in the U.S. and capacity to pass FAA security screening for positions of Public Trust. Demonstrated experience in developing business systems solutions using Pegasystems (Pega) software. Over 4 years of experience in building, managing, and supporting PEGA operating systems and application platforms. At least 4 years of experience with PEGA upgrade and patch management. 4+ years of supporting PEGA applications. Excellent critical thinking skills for troubleshooting purposes. In-depth knowledge of PEGA application packaging, security, rulesets, portals, reports, and other PEGA Out-Of-The-Box tools. Familiarity with web technologies, including .Net or Java. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities. Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education: Experience in the Federal Government work environment. Familiarity with FAA's tools and systems such as FRAMES, Delphi, PRISM, RPFMT, REPM. If comfort is what you seek, this might not be the place for you. Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $107,900.00 - $195,050.00. This pay range serves as a guideline and may vary based on several factors, such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market trends.
