In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with clients, engineers, and internal teams, ensuring that our projects are optimized for success from the planning phase to construction. Key Responsibilities: Lead preconstruction activities for mechanical projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping. Manage important components such as design coordination, budgeting, value engineering, and bid analysis. Review and finalize detailed cost estimates to protect project budgets. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors. Work in partnership with project managers and estimating teams to ensure cohesive project management. Identify risks early and formulate effective mitigation strategies. Ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction to construction phases. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical contracting, sales, estimating, or project management. Strong understanding of mechanical systems and BIM processes. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in Excel and construction/project management software.
