Your role as a Personal Banking Specialist will not only contribute to UMB's business success but also support your professional aspirations. You will receive comprehensive training on UMB's products, the sales process, and how to offer effective financial solutions. In this role, you will focus on: Engaging customers with personalized questions to transform routine transactions and service requests into meaningful cross-selling opportunities, enhancing customer relationships. Proactively generating sales by reaching out to leads, visiting businesses to promote workplace banking, and establishing referral networks. Meeting daily performance metrics while effectively managing competing priorities. Mastering processes such as transactions, cash drawer management, and completing bank documentation, ensuring adherence to industry and legal standards. Performing additional duties as assigned. Utilizes expert product knowledge and communication skills to assess customer needs and positively impact their financial well-being. Excels in communicating effectively, maintaining a positive demeanor, and enjoys problem-solving for positive customer outcomes. Demonstrates attention to detail when processing documents and explaining product features. Holds a high school diploma or equivalent. Brings at least one year of experience in retail customer engagement and product sales or similar experience. Possesses reliable transportation and flexibility to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings. Can obtain NMLS registration within 90 days. Target Pay: $22-23/hr Compensation Range: $32,640.00 - $62,640.00 The listed compensation range reflects UMB's standard for this role; actual compensation may differ based on location, experience, and other factors.
