In this vital role, you will be responsible for coordinating the shipment of medical devices to customers and ensuring all shipments are processed efficiently, accurately, and timely. Shift Available: First Shift Key Responsibilities: Review team responsibilities as given by the Production Supervisor. Train employees on shipping processes and assist manager in cross training associates in different work areas Act as a technical resource to shipping team to address and resolve inquires and problems and provide feedback to supervisors on recurring/major performance issues Coordinate all aspects of the shipping process, including scheduling pickups, preparing shipping documents, and arranging transportation for outgoing shipments Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, particularly those related to the shipment of medical devices, and implement procedures to maintain adherence to standards Collaborate with internal departments, including production, warehouse, sales, and customer service, to prioritize shipments and resolve any issues or delays that may arise Oversee the maintenance of accurate records of shipments, including tracking information, delivery confirmations, and shipping-related expenses Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers, and resolving any disputes or discrepancies in a timely manner Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and equipment, coordinating replenishment as needed to support ongoing shipping operations Assist with other logistics-related tasks and special projects as assigned by management Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience and Training: Five years of experience in shipping ideally with lead experience Proficiency with shipping software or ERP systems Physical and Mental Demands: Regularly required to read, write communicate with customers and vendors in a professional manner Must be able to operator a forklift Specific abilities include computer use Why Join Us?
