Senior Civil Design Engineer - Data Centers

We are on the lookout for a Senior Civil Engineer who will play a crucial role in the development of cutting-edge industrial and commercial facilities. In this role, you will manage schedules and ensure technical quality on exciting engineering tasks, while aligning with client expectations regarding scope, budget, and timeline. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to conceptualize and execute innovative civil designs for site development, grading plans, and drainage systems. Your key contributions will include: Developing site master plans and conducting site selection for industrial projects Routing underground utilities and planning site space effectively Performing hydrology analyses to design effective storm drainage systems Analyzing and designing gravitational wastewater systems Creating final grading plans with comprehensive cut/fill analyses and earthwork balancing Providing detailed erosion and sediment control plans, alongside stormwater pollution prevention strategies to facilitate permit approval Conducting thorough research to ensure compliance with local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements Using advanced software applications such as StormCAD and CivilStorm for stormwater modeling and analysis If you are ready to leverage your curiosity, organizational skills, and collaborative spirit to make a difference, we invite you to apply and embark on this fulfilling journey with us. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 8+ years of engineering experience, with substantial project-related experience Expertise in analyzing and designing medium to large scale industrial developments Proficient in all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal capabilities A proven track record of effective collaboration in diverse teams A genuine eagerness to learn and expand your expertise Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) certification Experience with Bluebeam Familiarity with Navisworks Jacobs is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
