Senior Transmission Project Leader

Your Role: Collaborate with the T&S New Business Engineering Team to refine project scopes and develop high-level schedules for a portfolio of Transmission Projects. Work alongside the T&S/category owner and Finance to secure project funding and set up initial project accounting. Guide projects through Phase 1/Conceptual Authorization, ensuring all documentation aligns with project goals. Partner with the PM Large Load Team and Project Initiation Team to assign project managers and initiate RFPs for Project Management Oversight Consultant services. Assist in creating bid packages for Engineering Contractor RFPs in collaboration with T&S Engineering. Request high-level schedules and estimates from the Project Controls Team to enable effective planning. Oversee 10% design development in coordination with the Lead Responsible Engineer and Engineering Contractor. Facilitate the creation and evaluation of a risk matrix based on project scope advancements through early designs. Ensure completion of stakeholder registration before project execution. Act as the primary contact for implementing the OT SGP-DA program, managing its financial, technical, and compliance aspects. Lead the initiation, planning, and control phases of the program, overseeing the entire project lifecycle. Ensure accountability in safety, documentation assemblage, and close-out processes. Support the overall management and coordination of the client's OT SGP and evaluate procedure documents relevant to the Exelon Management Model. Assist in managing finances, cost controls, schedules, and client relations while supporting the Principal Consultant on budgets and strategic planning. Contribute to Work Management activities necessary for executing DA device remediation on existing devices. Take on increasing responsibility for finances, schedules, environmental considerations, and client relations, with guidance from the Principal Consultant. Ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements to optimize efficiency through strategic execution. Flexibility in work location is vital, allowing for remote work, on-site client collaboration, or work from an Accenture office. Qualifications: A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical utilities project management, engineering, or construction. Preferred Qualifications: PMP certification or willingness to obtain within 24 months. Experience with underground electric distribution construction. Proven leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary work groups or contractors. Familiarity with OSHA safety policies. Strong understanding of project management principles. Experience managing large-scale projects.
