Job Description

Join us as a DevOps Trainee where you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting IT projects under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will gain valuable skills and experience in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Engage in IT assignments with moderate complexity while being mentored by senior team members. Communicate any issues or questions to management as needed. Collaborate in group discussions to address medium-scope problems. Participate in meetings to enhance your understanding of processes and projects. Follow guidelines to complete your tasks effectively. Think critically and focus on customer service while solving challenges. Prepare reports and presentation materials. Assist in developing solutions that streamline developer workflows in our AWS cloud environments with a focus on cost efficiency. Contribute to CI/CD shared libraries and pipelines. Design and implement scalable and highly available architectures. Ensure security and redundancy in our cloud environment systems. Incorporate DevSecOps best practices in the engineering process. Support teams in adopting test-driven development practices. Manage software deployment frameworks for various environments. Tackle automation improvements while conducting root cause analysis for problems. Work collaboratively to resolve outages and issues. Enable automated testing, monitoring, and alerting for systems. Contribute to maintaining compliance with security and privacy standards. Utilize remote collaboration tools such as Teams, Zoom, and Slack. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation. Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; 0-2 years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be a rising college senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. Self-starter with strong analytical skills. Hands-on programming experience with at least one language like Java, Python, or Bash. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Genuine interest in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and automation. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build management tools such as Git and Jenkins. Awareness of security best practices. Ability to perform in distributed systems with a focus on redundancy and performance optimization. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work professionally with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and organizational skills. Interest in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS/Azure, and related tools.
