Description: The Business Operations Manager (BOM) is at the helm of ensuring an outstanding shopping experience for Guests through efficient management of all business aspects. The BOM's key responsibilities include achieving performance targets, delivering appetizing food and beverage options in a food-safe environment, and driving year-over-year financial performance by implementing the Plan to Win Strategy and embodying core values. The BOM excels in a Staffed, Stable & Scheduled environment by creating a consistent experience for Team Members through effective training, coaching, and recognition, while promoting a culture of safety through a commitment to Believing in Zero. Requirements: Foster a safety culture by ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment for Team Members and Guests. Begin each day by creating an atmosphere of welcoming and belonging for all. Manage the daily implementation of the Store Operating System to deliver a cohesive Guest and brand experience while achieving performance goals. Enhance top-line P&L performance while controlling key financial areas; analyze reports to understand their sales impact and develop corrective action plans to meet budgets. Oversee inventory management through accurate count execution, order placements, and maintaining stock levels. Delegate responsibilities to Team Members and monitor task completion to ensure standards are met. Champion company initiatives and lead by example. Ensure food safety standards are consistently upheld and maintain optimal par levels for quality offerings. Develop well-trained Team Members by embracing and following our training procedures while emphasizing core values. Support Career Development for Team Members while adhering to high execution standards and a progressive discipline approach. Recruit, interview, hire, and schedule Team Members to ensure shift coverage while respecting all regulatory requirements. Empower Team Members to effectively address and de-escalate guest service concerns. Engage in positive communication that motivates and inspires Team Members to align with the Plan to Win strategy. Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and maintain all necessary inspection certificates. Promote sales and partnerships within the local community to extend the brand's reach. Demonstrate regular and reliable in-person attendance. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Key Relationships: Region Manager, Store Manager, Guest Service Representative, Human Resource Manager, Recruiter, Trainer, Auditor Skills: Demonstrates leadership by example and is willing to undertake any task. Utilizes analytical skills to tackle business-related challenges. Applies basic arithmetic skills for financial reporting and inventory management. Prioritizes tasks to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Maintains a positive demeanor even in high-pressure situations. Acknowledges and celebrates positive team performance while addressing areas for improvement. Proactively addresses obstacles before they affect performance. Effectively provides constructive feedback with understanding. Actively seeks feedback from guests to enhance business relationships. Encourages team collaboration and unity. Practices active listening to resolve conflicts and understand different perspectives. Values diversity and recognizes the strengths individual differences bring to the team. Knowledge: Understanding of guest service principles, quality standards, and evaluation methods. Familiarity with promotional strategies and personnel recruitment processes. Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of single-unit management in the retail and/or food and beverage sectors. Experience with applications like PeopleMatter, Workday, and Reflexis is a plus. Qualifications/Certifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred. Food Safety and Handling Certifications are preferred; willing to obtain if not already possessed. Physical Requirements: Ability to climb ladders, stand, push, pull, reach, bend, squat, climb, walk, and lift up to 55 lbs. Occasional sitting and driving may be required.
