Job Title: Cybersecurity Instructor Location: Colorado Springs, CO Duties & Responsibilities:Design and develop training objectives, curricula, instructor guides, student guides, job aids, course outlines, and other course material utilizing instructional design models Consult with client to develop learning objectives and training approach Research, analyze, design, develop, and customize instructional materials to potentially support WBT (Web-Based Training)/CBT (Computer-Based Training)/ILT (Instructor-Led Training) Apply various instructional strategies, models, and theories to develop learning content to enhance learning transfer and greater on-the-job performance Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure impactful, relevant course content and supporting training range Present/Instruct developed courseware Minimum Requirements:One or more of the trainings/ certifications listed below OR Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. Active Secret clearance. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future. Local to Colorado Springs, CO and able to work onsite 5 days/week in Colorado Springs, CO. 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with emphasis on cybersecurity course/training development, plus 3+ years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS (Elastic Stack, Splunk, HBSS, or equivalent). 2+ years of experience with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis, and MITRE ATT&CK. 1+ year of experience working on a cybersecurity team, such as a SOC, CPT, or CSSP. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
