We are seeking a Senior Power Apps Developer to join our growing team. This position will be able to work remotely from anywhere in the United States. The Senior Power Apps Developer is a hands-on, senior individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and supporting enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role emphasizes deep, day-to-day development (70%) with technical leadership (30%), delivering secure, scalable apps and automations while partnering closely with business stakeholders. Power BI, ETL, and advanced integrations are preferred secondary skills that strengthen solution outcomes but are not the primary focus. Key ResponsibilitiesHands-On Power Platform Development Design, build, test, and maintain Canvas and Model-driven Power Apps that streamline operations and improve user experience. Implement business logic using Power Fx, apply UI/UX best practices, and deliver responsive, accessible applications. Develop and support Power Automate workflows (approvals, notifications, data syncs), including error handling, logging, and monitoring. Own features end-to-end: requirements clarification, build, unit testing, deployment, and production support. Apply SDLC and Agile practices to deliver reliable, maintainable solutions at a consistent cadence. Solution Design & Technical Leadership Translate business requirements into pragmatic technical designs aligned to enterprise Power Platform standards. Contribute to solution architecture decisions (data model, app type selection, environment strategy, ALM approach). Perform peer code reviews, share patterns and reusable components, and mentor junior developers through example. Create and maintain essential documentation (app design notes, flow logic, environment configuration, support runbooks). Integration & Platform Enablement Integrate Power Apps with SharePoint Online, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services. Connect to external systems using standard connectors and APIs (REST/SOAP) following secure integration practices. Collaborate with platform admins on environments, security roles, data access, and governance compliance. Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with business users, analysts, and product owners to refine requirements and iterate on solutions. Communicate technical concepts in clear, non-technical language. Proactively identify opportunities to improve performance, usability, security, and development efficiency. Preferred/Secondary Responsibilities Build or enhance Power BI reports and dashboards that complement Power Apps solutions. Partner with data teams on ETL concepts, data quality, and integration patterns when apps rely on complex data flows. Assist with SQL query design or performance tuning in support of app and reporting needs. Required Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, with strong depth in Power Apps and Power Automate. Proven experience delivering production Canvas and Model-driven apps. Strong understanding of Power Platform security, and environment/ALM concepts. Working knowledge of Power Fx; familiarity with JavaScript, C#, or custom connectors is a plus. Experience integrating with Microsoft 365 services and external APIs. Solid grasp of Agile delivery and SDLC best practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Power BI (datasets, reports, dashboards) supporting operational or analytical use cases. Familiarity with ETL processes, data integration patterns, and relational databases (SQL Server or similar). Exposure to Azure services (identity, integration, APIs) used alongside Power Platform.
