Housekeeper

VP Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at an economy hotel located in Salem, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness to ensure a pleasant environment for our guests. This role requires a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and has a strong commitment to providing excellent hospitality services.Responsibilities Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas following established standards.Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed.Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hotel policies.Assist with laundry duties as required. Requirements Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
