About the job Laser Device Assembly Technician Responsibilities: Assemble laser handpieces for medical laser systems. Oversee the production and testing of medical laser devices, including software-related components. Responsible for the design, inspection, testing, and quality control of components, equipment, and finished products. Requirements: Strong hands-on skills. Masters degree or above in physics, electronics, laser technology, or a related field (exceptional bachelors degree holders will also be considered). Preferably 2+ years of experience in laser applications or optical design for medical devices. Familiar with the working principles and types of lasers (e.g., semiconductor, solid-state, fiber) and their biomedical applications. Knowledge of basic laser safety standards in medical applications (e.g., IEC 60825). Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical device R&D, especially laser therapy or imaging equipment. Familiarity with optoelectronic detection and feedback control systems. Strong English reading and writing skills, capable of supporting international regulatory requirements.
