SENIOR TRAINING DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? As a Senior Training Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the training landscape for our US Mortgage Banking Operations. You will lead a dynamic team in the assessment, development, and implementation of training programs tailored to various operational roles. By collaborating closely with the leadership team, you will establish a strategic roadmap focused on meeting organizational objectives through exceptional training solutions. Your leadership will ensure streamlined onboarding timelines and effective training programs for the Residential Lending Department. WHAT WILL YOU DO? Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Training Development Specialists, guiding them on training materials, methodologies, and effective program delivery. Design, facilitate, and implement training programs for internal colleagues, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals. Manage diverse learning environments and deliver engaging learning opportunities through classroom, live-and-online, self-paced e-learning, and blended learning methods. Collaborate with key stakeholders such as Product Managers and Sales & Operations Trainers to create and deliver impactful training programs. Serve as a subject matter expert, identifying optimal training methods and guiding your team in effective execution. Organize workshops for trainers, actively engaging with the product team to enhance training delivery. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Ensure all learning programs meet established project goals, quality standards, and legal requirements. Stay updated with the latest trends in adult learning and share valuable insights with your team. Maintain strong vendor relationships and liaise between Treasury and the Learning & Development team to align with best practices. Oversee administrative tasks, including monitoring costs, scheduling classes, and coordinating enrollments while effectively delegating responsibilities. Monitor project timelines, address challenges proactively, and promote valuable knowledge management resources. Facilitate and design knowledge-learning initiatives as assigned, ensuring team collaboration and successful execution. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. At least 7 years of experience in delivering and developing training materials, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or mentoring position. 5 years of experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of treasury management, deposit, and commercial card solutions. Additional Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Demonstrated expertise in designing and evaluating effective learning and development programs. Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire team collaboration. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, SMEs, contractors, and vendors. Ability to apply professional experience and learning theories in practical applications, developing effective learning opportunities. Proven abilities in needs assessment, objective setting, and evaluation of learning programs. Excellent project management skills to organize and schedule training sessions, with effective delegation capabilities. Ability to tailor content based on audience needs and develop materials that are clear and logical. WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation: Starting base salary ranges from $92,114 to $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This position is eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
