Application Development & Maintenance is dedicated to configuring and coding to develop, enhance, and sustain the organization's software systems through collaboration in cross-functional teams. This role involves programming and configuring applications, systems, and websites to meet both internal needs and external business requirements. We work closely with business leaders, investigating user needs, and consistently enhancing existing applications. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position requires a unique combination of deep technical expertise, strategic planning capabilities, and leadership skills. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our SAP platforms, with a strong focus on integrating emerging technologies such as SAP BTP and BRIM. You will provide essential support for our legacy systems like PI/PO and Portal as we prepare for their migration. The ideal candidate should be proficient in managing a diverse SAP landscape, including ECC, S/4HANA, and RISE, and will have the opportunity to lead and mentor team members, including offshore resources. Key Responsibilities: Drive stability, performance, and continuous improvement of our SAP platforms, including SAP BTP. Design and implement advanced SAP integration architectures using SAP Integration Suite (BTP), OData, IDoc, and RFC. Lead the technical strategy for migrating legacy SAP components, such as PI/PO and Portal, to S/4HANA and RISE. Provide engineering leadership for SAP workloads running in the cloud, optimizing our environment particularly on Google Cloud. Support scaling SAP-specific CI/CD initiatives to enhance developer experience and productivity. Manage a diverse SAP landscape of ECC, S/4HANA, and RISE while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Support and enhance current and future ASAPIO and BTP implementations for seamless data flow across the SAP ecosystem. Act as a mentor and provide technical leadership to less experienced colleagues and offshore technical resources. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience. 8-12 years of experience in SAP technical architecture and platform engineering. Strong technical understanding of SAP S/4HANA, RISE, and associated technical architectures. Advanced experience with SAP Integration Suite (BTP), PO, and various integration protocols. Proven experience managing SAP environments on Google Cloud. Hands-on experience with SAP-specific tools such as ASAPIO, NWDI, and API Management. Functional experience in SAP BRIM, Fiori, and Workflow development is an asset.
