About the Role As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will have the exciting opportunity to provide our customers with an unforgettable experience at every step of their CarMax journey. Your role will be pivotal in guiding customers through the simple and seamless process of buying and selling cars. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting clients throughout the entire process, from appraisals to test drives and financing applications. Conduct assessments of vehicle conditions by collecting and communicating vital information to buyers for accurate appraisals. Facilitate the check-in process for vehicles arriving at CarMax, ensuring accurate inventory management through daily scanning and reconciliation. Perform cosmetic inspections to guarantee all vehicles meet CarMax Quality Standards. Handle various administrative tasks including maintaining transaction paperwork, generating daily reports, and liaising with finance companies regarding customer contracts. Schedule service appointments and review repair orders for accuracy in billing documentation. Role Overview In this energetic retail sales environment, teamwork is key as you work towards meeting diverse goals and engaging with customers. Building rapport quickly and understanding customer needs will be essential. You will handle a variety of tasks independently, from sales processing to appraisal assessments and managing repair orders. There are ample opportunities for growth into mentorship and leadership roles within our collaborative team. Qualifications Exceptional communication skills. Confidence in yourself, the product, and CarMax. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Demonstrate integrity, respect, inclusion, and fairness within team dynamics. Balance customer needs with business objectives when making decisions. Deeply understand and meet customer needs. Develop effective solutions for customer issues. Stay organized and detail-oriented while achieving tasks promptly. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Read and interpret data accurately for record maintenance. Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous sales and customer service experience, particularly in a retail environment, is preferred. Valid Driver's License. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is preferred.
