As a Restoration Crew Chief, you will lead emergency response operations for water, fire, and mold damage restoration projects across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island.As the front-line representative of the SERVPRO® brand, the Restoration Crew Chief embodies the company’s Here to Help® commitment by coordinating, monitoring, and performing project work to successfully meet service needs and deliver a consistently positive customer experience.Schedule:Full-time position (40+ hours/week)Day shifts with rotating on-call coverage (weekly rotation)Overtime opportunities availableKey ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise restoration technicians on residential and commercial job siteRespond to emergency calls and assess property damagePerform and oversee water, fire, and mold restoration servicesManage daily job-site operations to ensure quality, safety, and timely completionDeliver excellent customer service and maintain high customer satisfactionCommunicate expectations clearly and coordinate with project managers and office staffMaintain equipment, vehicles, and job sites in accordance with SERVPRO standardsComplete accurate job documentation and ensure compliance with IICRC and safety protocolsAdditional Responsibilities:Communicate and follow all OSHA guidelines for job safetyManage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properlyCoach and train restoration techniciansPosition RequirementsValid driver’s licenseHigh school diploma/GED (preferred)1-2 years of restoration industry experience (water/fire damage)Basic computer/smartphone proficiencyPreferred:ICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certificationIICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certificationExperience with restoration equipment and hand/power toolsKnowledge of NYC building requirementsSkills/Physical Demands/CompetenciesAbility to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objectsAbility to work with/around cleaning agentsWhy SERVPRO Team Allen?
