Job Description Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies that support their goals. Implement Therapeutic Interventions: Apply evidence-based techniques to enhance patients' physical skills, cognitive abilities, and daily functions. Collaborate Within Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their families in therapy methods to ensure continued progress outside of the clinic. Document Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans to keep patients moving toward their objectives. Education Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university. Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported. Certifications Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license. NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must.
