Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Marshfield Clinic Merrill Center is seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Merrill, Wisconsin. The Nurse Practitioner is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician.In this role, you will join a busy practice with an experienced group. Our Merrill Center has a strong primary care presence in the community with a variety of outreach. Onsite radiology, lab collection, mobile mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and echo. You will take call once every three months on the weekend from home. JOB QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATIONFor positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Master s Degree in Nursing EXPERIENCE Minimum Required: NonePreferred/Optional: One to three years nursing experience in specialty CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position. Minimum Required: Current State of Wisconsin Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, and Nurse Practitioner Licensure. Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire. Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location). Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
