Pulmonology Locum Tenens Setting: Acute Care Hospital Start Date: March 21, 2026 Positions Needed: 2 Coverage Dates Current need: March 21 March 31 Schedule 24-hour call coverage • 7:00 AM 7:00 AM (Mon Sun) Practice Details Average 4 6 patients per shift • Average daily census: 4 6 • 18 ICU beds staffed by in-house intensivists • Provider works solo for pulmonology coverage Coverage Model Intensivists handle admissions and urgent ICU calls • Limited overnight call-backs • Provider rounds on patients assigned to their list Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible • Internal Medicine with Pulmonology fellowship required • Active California medical license required
